Last night we watched the first in a series of Italian TV shows called Donna Detective. In the US it's being broadcast on selected public TV stations that carry the MHZ network. Here is a list. If you can't get it on a TV station near you, you can also stream it, but only at the time it's being broadcast (9 pm Tuesdays).
It's about a woman police detective working in Rome (some nice shots of the city) and living in Tivoli. We especially liked the back story about her life, and how she juggles the demands of her job and family -- three kids and a husband who is a doctor.
Just thought I'd post about it in case anyone else would like to try to catch future shows.

Well, phooey. It looks like fun but the MHZ affiliate in Seattle (KCTS) isn't carrying it. It's not on Netflix yet, either.

Michael, that web page says the affiliate in Tacoma-Seattle is KBTC. Maybe you don't get that one?
Here in the San Francisco area, it's actually shown on the San Mateo public TV channel, but we can get that on our cable.
Also, you can watch it on your computer via the live streaming link, but only at the actual time it is being broadcast.
