Slow Travel - February 2005Hello Slow Travelers! Sorry for that earlier email that was all one paragraph!! Here it is again. Our Slow Travel message board had a few problems this past week, but they are fixed now. Our software was upgraded and after the upgrade, we experienced some downtime and slowness. It is back to normal now, and is working faster than ever after the upgrade. Now might be a good time to update your profile on the board! Click the GO button in the upper left part of the message board and select "My Space". Click Profile, then Edit Profile, to change your display name, location, bio, etc. Click Preferences to see some other settings for your membership. We encourage everyone to become premium members, to help support the site (paid membership). Premium members have access to Private Messaging, Email Digests and the Chat Rooms. Click "Become a Member" in the right sidebar on the board, or click this link: http://slowtalk.com/membership I will be sending out a Slow Travel newsletter soon, to let you know what has been going on this past year. 2004 was a very fun and exciting year for Slow Travel, and 2005 is shaping up to be even better!
