Our Five Year Anniversary!!

Slow Travel 5th Anniversary "Open House", Thursday June 15, 1pm - 8pm MDT

Thursday June 15 is the 5th anniversary of the Slow Travel Message Board, SlowTalk, and we are having a party - an online party! Drop by the message board on Thursday and help us celebrate!

There will be threads about the community and its members (check the Everything Else forum). When did you first join the board? Tell us how you found out about it. (Have a look at your profile, or on the bottom of any of your posts, to see the date that you joined the message board.) We will recount some of our most memorable moments.

There will be some fun quizzes. Please jump in and post a quiz of your own!

At 3pm MDT (11pm in Italy) we will be having a chat with Rebecca, the author of Rebecca's View, those wonderful essays about living in Italy.

So, pour yourself a nice beverage, make yourself a nice snack and come join us at the party on the message board. We may have a few surprises for you!!

It starts at 1pm MDT (12pm PDT, 1pm MDT, 2pm CDT, 3pm EDT, 8pm GMT (England), 9pm GMT+1 (rest of Europe). And lasts until we run out of energy!!
